Anyone seen Nadesico? Mechs + Comedy = Gold. Story's good too. And for Gundam, the only one I found bearable with the 08th MS Team.

i've been watching alot of naruto recently and ya know what... it is not half bad...
then i am watching it in japanese... so that removes most of the voice action problems...
the fillers are really the worst part so i usually try to skip the really bad ones... but the actuall story is pretty good...

alright wang i finally started to watch serial experiments 'Lain' and i got to tell ya it is really f'in weird. i mean like WTF.
i have only seen the first 2 episodes ad it has hit an all time high on the wierdness scale for me. (yes this does include paranoia agent, and cat soup) so like ya. it is rather good though. the animation is like a trip back to the seventies as far as color usage goes, butall the main charcators are dram quite normal. the shadows really bother me though.

Ah the shadows... it's part of the wierdness of the two worlds colliding. I think it's cool how you can always hear the sound of buzzing from the power cables... It fits perfectly in the series.

Oh, and since all of you guys who have watched Elfen Lied have been pissing me off saying that Elfen is Eleven, I finally went on a translator to translate it. Elft is eleventh and Elfen is just plain Elfen. Look it up. Also, Wikipedia may not be a reliable source sometimes, but after a while someone who actually knows something, does edit it, so that it is the correct info.

Ergo Proxy is awesome!
It's kinda like Ghost in the Shell meets Blade Runner meets Serial Experiments Lain meets Witch Hunter Robin.
You know, androids who seem more human than humans, corrupt dystopian city, a vast conspiracy, oddly gothic arcitecture, creepy little girl robot, the usual.

Great plot so far, interesting concepts without feeling like it's going to go Eva on you halfway through. In fact, it feels like what Blade Runner should have been.

We should so watch this if we do another animeness.

Netflix has all the volumes but six, but I'm not sure if you saw six at Panda's, and they really need to be watched in order.
