BSG is FULL of depth... unfortuanatly it doesn't have much more than that... i guess it is kinda like blade runner that way....

well anyway... turns out the EVA i am downloading isn't dual audio... it is just japanese with subtitles... SO DEAL...
i am also downloading the dual audio of rahxephon because i know too many people don't like to read their animes... unlike me...

That's how you should watch it anyway... The only good dubs that I've seen are the ones for Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, and Hellsing.

The Animeness got off to a good start with, oddly enough, Firefly. Firefly was uninanimously voted best SciFi show ever by everyone there, except Kyle, who kind of just played KoL.
Plus we watched Evangelion: ReDeath. And everyone has decided Low Life for Savage Worlds looks awsome.
I'm at home for tonight, can't wait for the actual anime to start tomorow! Eva, here I come!

in conclusion...
we sucessfully completed...NeonGenisis Evangelion, Serial Experiments Lain, and Berserk.

other anime that we didn't complete were; gokusen, rahxephon, and excel saga... i think that's about it...

it was pretty good... too bad about... like Vandread o well.
and everyone should blame wang... cuz it was his fault ...urg..crap..stupid..berserk, gay ending...makes wolf's look awesome...

other than that... the next animeness...(if it ever happens) should like be hosted somewhere other than my house... just a though...
(my siblings really hate it...ALLOT)
so ya...
and bob dole doesn't take this kinda crap. bob dole's a cyborg!

Boy, Lain was good! I actually understood most of it! End of Evangelion was was a trip worth taking, but it was a trip allright. Can't wait for the new Eva movies, after seeing the whole thing I'm really pumped for 'em!
Why didn't you guys finish Excel Saga? It looked like everyone was liking it when I left.

And all those headtrips from those things are making me feel really existentially emo. I'm currently trying to define the nature of reality.
It's not going well.
Reality may, infact, be a strawberry.

Thermal Expansion!
We are going to be spouting in-jokes for months from this one...

You guys should do a The Office marathon... After watching seasons 1-3, it now holds a place in my top 5.

Battlestar Galactica
Firefly
The Office
Heroes
Scrubs

The Office can be very uneaven, really funny some episodes and not so funny the next.
A Joss Whedon Marathon would be better.
Buffy, Angel, and Firefly are all good.
...But it could include the episode of The Office that Joss directed.

I think we should stick mostly with anime, though. With a few other shows mainly.

Joss' episode was hilarious. Can't wait to see the next one, cause it's also by him. And I personally think every episode was funny. It took a while to get used to Micheal, but he's funny now.

It was not my fault. If you want to blame anyone blame yourself for getting mad at me for watching Berserk and made me stop watching to the end. It was good until the last 2 ep. though...

If we do have another animeness, we are totally watching Death Note (If the series is complete) because it is so totally awesome... and I'm pretty sure the ending ISN'T going to suck like Berserk... I think I'm going to cut myself now for watching that series...

So far Deathnote is the best manga I've ever read. Seriously.
It's the only one I've ever actually bought.
If only book and game had volume three in...

Speaking of Deathnote...
How closely does the anime follow the manga? It's about the only anime I've ever been interested in that I've read the manga beforehand, besides Black Jack that is (but the first Black Jack anime sucked).
Is it like Bleach where it's pretty much a strait adaption? Or like Ghost in the Shell where it has nothing to do with manga? Or Fullmetal alchemist where it's basically the same until about halfway through?
