Alright... So to sum up the turn of events; The council doesn't have the power they think they should and have run off to some new forums. Nothing can be done about that.

So.. Now we want to make sure our remaining community runs like a well oiled community and has the best forums possible? The question is how do we proceed...

Undoubtably at some point were going to get told that we can't have DGR-X modereators and such running around these forums and have this DGR-X Section as is. So the question becomes what do we do about it?

1) I moved some things into a general category to kinda show we could group tings and not call it part of DGR-X

2) We could hold elections on who the community moderators are.

3) I've been discussing some things with panda about the forums. And one thing thats come up is possibly allowing people who want to, limited access so they can make thier own skin for the forums since no official ones really exist.

Post your thoughts/ideas.

Keep up the good work deathbob! I like this place a ton and your changes all sound good to me. I like phpbb way better than whatever the heck the new boards use, I mean these don't ask you to pay board money to turn off the ads.

The main thing I think we need to do is to get people to understand that this forum is still here and that they don't need to change to the new ones.
Custom skins are cool, they would really make this place look better (but the default skin is still better than the new board's skin).

About the only thing I like about the new boards is the 'journals' section, I think that's a cool idea.

To be honest, I like the boards how they are. A simple place with a calm skin to chat with friends, discuss games and bitch about life.

I am still with the old boards. I wouldn't leave these for something run by the guys in the council I don't trust them and the custom skins sound awesome

just for the record the custom skins would be made by YOU so you couldn't complain about it...
and about the moderator voting thing... i sugest Captian Thark to be a global moderator...

Thark getting Upity. Wow that is going to happen like never. Unless he does something just because he doesn't like someone. Which will never happen cause all those guys are on the new forum. And as for him as a Moderater I say heck yes.

I don't think it will be a problem, I just reserve the right.
