i am not really a fan of the gears of war stlye... it looks too, how should i say... weird...
i think they should focus on REALizim not "better-than-real...izim"
o well...
i guess that means final fantast XIV (i never really though i would EVER write that...) will use it...

Yeah realism is over rated. But I liked Wind Waker's graphics better than Gears of War's graphics...

The Gears of War art style was an art direction the development team chose to go with. Just because their characters were big and bulky doesn't mean that every character made for the engine will be. In fact, a lot of the coloring was theirs too. You could have a very bright and colorful game with lots of skinny skinny people if you wanted to.

They weren't... that bad. And you misspelled Waker... Katamari Damacy had better graphics, fyi.
