Righto, watched a shit ton of anime while I was "away". To update you all, I shall post a list.
Ah! My Goddess (I loved it. Made me think a lot)
Area 88 (story's kinda meh, but the dogfights are awesome)
Akira (idk, it was ok)
Baccano! (loved it. hilarious, dark, and with a good story)
BECK Mongolian Chop Squad (liked it. i really, really like music, though, so that appealed to me)
Black Lagoon (awesome action, cool characters, neat setting. loved it)
Code: Geass (it had a cool concept, but the main character's just such a darsh)
Cowboy Bebop (a noir story, awesome characters, sci fi bounty hunters, and great music, definitely loved it)
Death Note (L was infinitely more interesting than Light, so the show plummeted about half way through)
Eureka 7 (once again, a cool concept, but could be so much cooler if they dropped the kid stuff)
Fullmetal Alchemist (pure awesome. nuff said)
Full Metal Panic (it's been a while since i've seen it, but i liked it when i saw it)
Great Teacher Onizuka (fucking hilarious, i was so sad when i ran out of episodes)
Hellsing (honestly, not really big on stuff as dark as this)
Love Hina (hated it. honestly, the girls just kept pissing me off. they're being ridiculously unreasonable, and though that's supposed to be what's funny, it just bugs me)
Macross Zero (once again, been a while since i've seen it. from what i remember, there was some badass combat and a pretty cool story)
Maritan Successor Nadesico (i thought it was funny when i saw it, but it's been a while)
Melancholy Of Suzumiya Haruhi (absolutely loved it. hilarious and extremely thought provoking)
Memories (a series of 3 short films, one's funny, one's a cool sci fi, and the other is, well, it's odd)
Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team (i can't stand gundam, but this was decent. it presents mechs and their pilots in a more realistic way (at least for gundam standards)
Neon Genesis Evangelion (it left me sad and disappointed with the main character. one of the movies had awesome music, tho)
Noir (it's got some sweet action scenes, but the story's just, idk, silly)
Planetes (the story's stupid, but the concept is incredibly cool. debris collectors in space)
Prince of Tennis (idk why, but i found it compelling enough to watch all 100+ episodes. it was often funny)
Samurai 7 (a neat take on the Seven Samurai story)
Samurai Champloo (cool story, cool action, cool music, cool characters, cool art. just plain cool. oh, also funny)
Trigun (funny, a cool universe, and a sweet story)
