Cinimatic Unisytem does pretty much the same thing. Baisically, all the bad guy's rolls are averaged out beforhand. In combat you roll attack agaist their defense, when they attack you, you roll your defense. You can roll for the Big-Bads if you want to, though. All that and character creation is a cinch, just spend your skill points and advantage points. Plus, all it takes is a d10. It's what runs Buffy.

This reminds me, Witchcraft (link) is a free Unisystem game! Not Cinamatic Unisystem, but cool none the less!
It was the Buffy RPG before there was a Buffy RPG (incidently, the guy who wrote this also wrote the Buffy RPG).
I kind of like the World of Dakness without all the angst. Sure, the end of the world is coming, but you can stop it! It's got a bunch of cool charcter types including a variety of magic users and even monsters in the later suplements. It's worth a download, even with some of it's eccentricities (IE: it uses d6s and d8s, for no obvious reason). All in all, it's one of the best free games ever (pretty much 'cause it didn't start out free). Download now!

just say that you don't like it because it is 600 pages long and you don't want to read it... jk but what ever i like the system it seems pretty straight forward and charactor gen doesn't take too long. also, it seems to be nice to players... opposed to nice to gm... (you know what i mean) but ya... i think i want to run somthing in this with my siblings somtime cuz it looks that good(that and it is you know... free)

Still stuck on the fifth level.
Thanks for reminding me about that, though. I'm very close to being done, I need to just make myself sit down finish it.

This might be the last post in this log thingy, because I have an actual blog now.
It'll be good, and stuff.
Sign up and make some comments on it.

I was wrong. You don't have to register to post comments on my blog.
Just click 'Comments', or 'No Comments' if there's no posts (like now)

My blog has the start of a story I'm working on. The first bit I've got posted kind of sucks because I posted it late last night, but they should get better.
I really want to see what you think of it, so it would be nice if someone put something in the comments section.
You probably could talk about it here if you want to, but I'd rather see comments on my blog.

If for some reason you're conserned about needing to give your email to comment, that's just for me to keep out spammers. I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who gets to see it, so post away!
