you just don't like it because you started in the frieza saga and had a horrable experiance...

You shouldn't judge the whole series off of that saga... Eventhough it is longer than most animes...
if you would have started in the saiyan saga, Like ME or many other people, you would realize that the show is allot better than you are presently giving it credit for...
NO it is not the best show in the world... and the dubs suck... this is due to the fact that funimation got a hold of it. the dubs are MUCH better in japanese. also i had to endure the frieza saga too... many kids did... it wasn't that horrable... yes it was 20 episodes where about an hour to two hours passed... but still that isn't the point...
also the show was made by akira toriyama which by itself makes the show half desent.
The plot is good, the characters (minus Goku) are awesome, and it looks good...

no DBZ is not on my list of top 10 but it still ranks upthere right next to "My neighbor Totoro" and it holds a special place in my heart...

Totoro would kick goku's tushie if they fought.
(You know, maybe they could use that in some spin off of super robot taisen)

well that is obvious... a one armed squirel (not even a ninja squirel) could beat up goku... he sux alot... i am talking about the SHOW... and all of the other charactors..

Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, Samurai Champloo, Full Metal Alchemist and some other that I have seen are Freaking Awesome


I have one thing to point out Omnis if you don't spell Wolf's Rain right the next time i'll find you and rip you limb from limb so the next time you spell wolf's rain what are you gonna do thats right freaking spell it right. O and I am a Council Member don't piss me off...

My top ten:
Full Metal Panic! - Even though their are 3 series of this just group'em together cuz their all good. If you've watched it, WITHOUT distractions, it's awesome.
Rahxephon - I like this series it is totally awesome. It's NGE except with somewhat better plot, more understandable without hurting your brain, and no Shinji.
FLCL - Insanely awesome.
Last Exile - As Noah said, Airships = Cool, though it does get pretty slow in the middle...
Gundam Seed - I don't really care much for other Gundam series but this one really set the bar. The plot is just draws you in, in the middle of the series. (Not in the beginning because you have no idea what the hell they're talking about most of the time.)
Azumanga Daioh - I put this on here because if I don't Kenhin would kill me... JK, seriously this series was pretty funny. Better if you read the manga too though.
Eureka Seven - Mechs sky boarding(Technically trapar boarding). That alone would be cool, but the plot just makes it awesome.
Elfen Lied - I think people forgot about how awesome this show was... *Goregasm*
Fullmetal Alchemist - People's top ten cannot do without this series. It probably doesn't even need to be on this list...
The Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Comedy series complete with aliens, ESPers, and time travelers. It's wierd since you watch the series out of order, but a cool series. I heard it's like a religion over in Japan...

Anime that should be recognized:
Hikaru no Go - Cool series even though it's about go... but once you start watching it it will completely change how you thought about it.
Planet ES - Starts out pretty slow but has a good ending.

The only reason Gundam Seed isn't the worst Gundam ever made is because G-Gundam set the bar so low. It's an outright rip-off of the orignal Gundam, but the main character wines like Shinji from Eva and all the charachters look like chicks.
