DEFINATLY THE BEST IN THE BUNCH. it is in the same class as XKCD, so if you don't look at any of them at least look at this one. awesome science stuff, and great art.

FreakAngels is post-apocalyptic sci-fi story written by ACTUAL REAL WORLD COMIC BOOK AUTHOR Warren Ellis. It's got art that puts almost any other webcomic to shame, and writing to match. It's one of the few intentionally not funny webcomics on the net (as opposed to the thousands of unintentionally not funny comics).

It's still in setup mode, introducing the characters, setting up the world, establishing a status quo that will soon be brought down in a fiery explosion, you know, the usual stuff. You really have to read it for yourself, I have a feeling this will be one of the greatest webcomics ever before it's over.

Here's the first comic if you're interested.
This sword calls me it's master, but I feel more like it's slave.
