that game thinks it's so smug...
it says that it is unbeatable.
it says that it 'solved' it.
hah i say.
this little connect 4 app was programed with a selection tree that gives it the best chance of winning posible. no amout of good moves on your part can beat it. it simply isn't going to happen. bad moves however can screw with the sucker making it do less than optimal moves (it assumes you are at least trying...). it is pretty funny it says "im going to win" when there is no posible way for it to lose... but i think it wasn't programed for this case.


ya... it's going to win all right... if only there was another layer...
it cheats though... it makes you go first every time... if i went second i could win every time too. (especially after playing against this thing...)

i just thought i would share.

i found out today that i am a transhumanitarian, but i am against the singularity...
because i want to live in ghost in the shell, not the matrix.
although if the AI were able to be controlled by the obsolete man then i guess i wouldn't hate singularity...
i was reading some stuff and boy i think that either i am way off or they are though... to say that singularity (btw i am talking about the unpresidented rapid development of technology started by machines able to create smarter machines) is the next paradigm shift, i really don't think so. especially because we consider the advent of the transistor the last technological paradigm shift. i think that it is more likely to be either organic or photonic based computing, (the latter after nanotechnology, which isn't a paradigm shift just like microtechnology isn't).

so ya.. going to Ukraine... i don't really know much about Ukraine so it is all really meh.
i am excited about being able to learn Russian. it is the language that was third on my list to learn. (Japanese, Latin, Russian)
and not just book learn it but live for 2 years where it is the dominate language, i will get a pretty good mastery.
also leaving the 2nd of july so i got a while just not a long while.
