Just because Blizzard put it on the box does not make it a fact. It just means Blizzard was wrong.
It still strikes me as a bit odd that you say Diablo is RPG without roleplaying whatsoever, but Fallout, a game that actually involves quite a bit roleplaying, isn't just because its highly tactical. Seems to me you're no better than I am.
And Final Fantasy is a freaking adventure game.
