Quite cute, I think.

I'm in Lincoln City Oregon right now, that's the beach for you folks at home.
I'll get on later to tell you if I found anything cool.

I got stuff today. My raid on a local used bookstore proved fruitful.
I hauled in:
Earthdawn (It's Shadowrun's distant D&Desuqe past)
Megatraveller Player's handbook (Sadly, no Referee's Guide, but it's got character creation for me to mess with)
A&D 1e Dungeon Master's guide (No player's guide or Monster Manual, these turn up often enough though. Got it for Gary Gygax's words of wisdom)
Dark Conspiracy (It's the dystopic future of the 80's, but there are monsters to kill. Looks really good so far)
Darksun Rule book (sadly lacking all the rules you need to play)

So, I checked out the college today, tomorrow I'll hopefully be wrangling up a copy of Cthulhutech.

Evergreen (the college) is pretty awesome. The style of most of the people there was...Tayloresque is really the only way to put it. I counted two pirate flags in the computer lab (one just a skull and crossbones, the other an actual flag hung in the window of what I assume was the computer office). The whole place looked ideal for filming an 80's style sci-fi movie because of all the awesome angular concrete architecture. Also, the whole place is covered with trees that look like a cross between endor and every non-desert planet on Stargate.

I thinks it's the one I'm going to. I'm considering just skipping the other college entirely and just spending an extra hour or two in Olympia. Jeeze, after this trip, it actually makes sense why Washington is called the evergreen state!

Oh, come to think of it, I'm posting from that college I posted about months ago.
Funny, that.

I did stay an extra hour by the way, back in april. I wish I'd gone to Olympic Cards and Comics, because I totally would have found that copy of Cthulhutech.
